Şanlıurfa – Antakya – Gaziantep Tour

Day 1

Hatay – Antakya – Habib-i Neccar Mosque – St.Pierre Church You will fly to Hatay in the morning with Airlines. After meeting the agency team in Hatay and having breakfast, you will visit Hatay Archeological Museum. Lunch will be at a local Hatay restaurant. You will then walk the back streets of Antakya and visit churches. You will also visit historic Uzunçarşı and the oldest mosque in Anatolia, Habibi Neccar mosque. You will then visit St. Pierre church, the oldest known church in Christian history and a site of pilgrimage as declared by Pope Paul VI. Dinner will be at a local restaurant. Overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 2

Gaziantep – Yesemek Open Air Sculpture Museum – Zeugma Mosaic Museum- Gaziantep Bazaars Set off to Yesemek with a two hour morning drive. A visit to Yesemek Open Air Museum and Sculpture Atelier, which is on UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Temporary List. Set off to Gaziantep and have lunch at a local Gaziantep restaurant. A visit to Zeugma Mosaic Museum, the second largest mosaic museum in the world. Gaziantep city center tour: Bey Neighborhood with historic mansions, baths and avenues, Gaziantep coppersmiths’ bazaar and caravanserais, Almacılar Bazaar. Dinner is at a local restaurant. Overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 3

Birecik – Halfeti – Batıkşehir – Halfeti – Şanlıurfa – Gümrükhan Set off to Birecik in the morning. A visit to the ancient town of Zeugma, where the mosaics at Zeugma mosaic museum were excavated. Lunch at a local restaurant. Set off to Halfeti Cittaslow (Slow City) Halfeti and a boat tour on the Euphrates River: Greek castle, Savaşan Village panoramic photo opportunities. Set off to Şanlıurfa. A visit to historic Urfa Bazaar and Gümrük Caravanserai. Local sıra night entertainment and dinner at guest house. Overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 4

Şanlıurfa – Gaziantep – Balıklıgöl A visit to Şanlıurfa Archeological Museum in the morning, one of the best museum complexes that displays turning points in history. Afterwards, a visit to Göbeklitepe Site. Lunch at a local restaurant with Şanlıurfa delicacies. A visit to Şanlıurfa Castle and Balıklı Lake. Visits to Halil-ür Rahman Mosque and Ibrahim post, followed by drive to Gaziantep Airport. Arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport with Gaziantep-Sabiha Gökçen flight.
